Yanfeng Automotive Interiors

Event translation and interpreting package for Yanfeng Automotive Interiors

Yanfeng® Automotive Interiors (YFAI) is the global leader in automotive interiors. YFAI is redefining how people relax, work and play in their vehicle interiors today and decades from now. The company designs, develops and manufactures automotive interior components for all automaker brands.

merle & sheppard supported YFAI with translations of the opening of their new Slovakian technology center. Management invited a large number of guests from different countries to the opening ceremony and press conference. YFAI engineers were proud to be able to show guests around the new facility and to answer questions about their latest technological developments.

The YFAI Public Relations department gave merle & sheppard the job to translate all internal and external communication material and media including:

  • Translation of the press kit and press releases into 7 different languages (English into German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Czech and Slovak)
  • Translation of all documents used during the event — agenda, fact sheet handouts, corporate information etc.
  • Coordination and briefing of an interpreter team for simultaneous interpreting at the opening ceremony
  • Post-event support activities — translation and summaries of press clippings as well as media reaction from local and European press

This was a very successful event that presented YFAI as a state-of-the-art technology company and highlighted their significance for the automotive industry internationally.
